GRIC exists to create meaningful connections across borders and disciplines through robotics, science, and innovation.
Our mission is to accelerate innovation by providing a structured ecosystem of competition, mentorship, and knowledge exchange. A distinguished researcher in micro and nanosystems engineering whose work focuses on advancing next-generation thermal technologies for electronics and smart devices. His research explores nanoscale thermal measurement, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), nanocarbon materials, and active thermal transport control. By combining advanced microfabrication techniques with innovative thermal sensing technologies, he develops high-precision solutions for semiconductor thermal management, flexible electronics, and energy-efficient engineering systems. His interdisciplinary research also extends to nanomaterial-based biomedical sensing and tissue engineering, contributing to the future of intelligent devices, healthcare technologies, and sustainable electronic systems.

Dr. Jack Calcut is an accomplished mathematician, researcher, and educator specializing in geometric and algebraic topology. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and has completed postdoctoral research at leading U.S. institutions. An award-winning educator and published researcher, his work has advanced mathematical sciences through innovative teaching, academic mentorship, and internationally recognized research, inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders.

As a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Global Robotics Innovation Championship (GRIC), he provides strategic guidance to promote robotics, STEM education, innovation, and international collaboration while empowering the next generation of technology leaders.
